Wednesday Conservation Volunteers meet almost every Wednesday, somewhere in Hampshire.

New Forest Area Conservation Volunteers work on Sundays on reserves in the New Forest.

Southampton University Conservation Volunteers have activities around Hampshire.

Sholing Valleys Study Centre in Southampton have a variety of activities and also manage Miller's Pond Nature Reserve. (Facebook link)

Worthys Conservation Volunteers work around the villages known as The Worthys, to the north of Winchester. (Facebook link)

Friends of Hocombe Mead help with Eastleigh Borough Council's conservation tasks on the ancient woodland and meadows of Hocombe Mead in Chandlers Ford. They meet on the second Thursday of the month 10am to 2pm.

Nature in Portsmouth and Havant by John Goodspeed covers various local groups and wildlife topics, including information on the Portsdown Hill Conservation Volunteers.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust manage many sites in the county and have various volunteering roles.

Working on a Woodland Trust reserve north of Waterlooville are the Park Wood group.

Looking after trees in Havant are Havant Borough Tree Wardens.

Basingstoke Conservation Volunteers do similar work to HCV in the north of Hampshire.

Near Aldershot are Friends of Brickfields Park

The Fleet Pond Society organise events, work-parties and campaigns.

Conservation groups in the north-east of the county have formed the Blackwater Valley Countryside Trust. The site gives details of groups and events.

In the north-west of the county, Andover is home to The Anton River Conservation Association (TARCA).

Over the border into Berkshire are Berkshire Conservation Volunteers and
Greenham and Crookham Conservation Volunteers who work on Greenham Common near Newbury.

Out to the west are Dorset Countryside Volunteers

Head east for the Chichester Conservation Volunteers, who have tasks every Sunday.

The South Downs National Park covers part of Hampshire and rather more of Sussex, and has various volunteering opportunities.

Around Aldershot are the Trail Action Group. It has been set up by local mountain bikers who wish to retain access to Minstry of Defence land. They are concerned that access may be lost because of disruption to army manoeuvres and the environmental impact of some irresponsible bikers.
