You may have been with us long enough to remember Dickie Topp, a lively character who sadly is no longer with us. Our new set of lightweight free-standing display boards and a pop-up gazebo were purchased in his memory, through the generosity of his family and friends. Our boards give a photographic cross-section of our work, and are mainly to be found in public libraries during the winter months. In the summer we aim to attend three or four outdoor events using the gazebo, displaying some of our wierd and wonderful tools, and perhaps arranging an activity for people to join in with. An adaptable version of the old heavyweight display is also available.
Here is our schedule for 2019:
|Basingstoke Discovery Centre||7th - 21st January|
|Yateley library||1st - 12th April|
|Farnborough library||3rd - 31st May|
|Fleet library||To be confirmed|
If you know of an event where our display might fit in, please
contact Mark Dakin or send us an e-mail. See the home page for
We have leaflets available for display, business cards, thanks to Karen, and now polo shirts, thanks to Jenny.
If this is something you have longed for, then at last you can have an embroidered polo shirt too.
The shop is called Spoilt Rotten Workshop and is at 194, West Street, Fareham (next to Aldi and there is a street behind the shop where there is also free parking.) The best way to get a polo shirt is to check on line and choose the colour and size you want and then phone the shop (01329 282800) to put in your order.
The price is £16.99 for a polo shirt with the logo embroidered on it and an extra £3.95 if you want it posted to you. Or, if you already have a polo shirt, you can bring it to the shop and leave it with them to have the logo embroidered on it which will cost £10.
